To Whom It May Concern:
This is a 30 day notice. In moving into ------- a part of the lease agreement was to provide quiet enjoyment. You are in violation of the lease agreement. You have not been able to provide quiet enjoyment due to a neighbors high school age daughter that lives next to my bedroom deliberately slamming things into the floor at night to disrupt, awaken and deprive me of restful sleep for 3 weeks, presently. Sleep is essential to my daily function and health for my job, my physical health and to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The first week I was here and unloading groceries the neighbor in 7149 verbally confronted me about unloading groceries and water into the steep stepped townhouse and the car wasn't even parked in front of his for more than 15 minutes. Once he continued to provoke me I told him to "leave me alone".I had an amicable conversation with the parent (father) of the daughter who is slamming things and on Tuesday 17 May 2022, he dismissed me so he is condoning her actions. Brought this to your attention and instead of taking responsibility and accountability, the onus is on me which also says you truly don't care about my well being as a human to get essential sleep.
Additionally, I will not be harassed and unlawfully video recorded after a roommate decides to listen in on a conversation I was having with my Pastor over the phone which is also unlawful and none of his business.
Lastly, I will not live in a space where the landlord expressly states says, "I don't care about the law" and doesn't even reside currently at ------- and condones unlawful behaviors in/on your property.
Mr. ---------- is to cease and desist all contact. Going from, "oh we finally found the perfect roommate for that room", speaking with Jen on 18 May 2022 to cussing me out, listening in on a private phone conversation and unlawfully video recording me in my private residence on 20 May 2022.
Will be vacating the premises on 25 June 2022 in which I will expect my deposit of $675.00 be returned to me in cash on June 25, 2022 once my property is removed. If I don't receive my deposit back in cash that day it leaves me no choice than to follow up with Howard County District Court.
Wish you all the best, truly.
